About Me

Sometimes the path you take starts on a little thing and you have no inkling to the amplitude it will take until you are in the middle of it. Full of dreams and imagination, my friend and I made up stories of teleportation to go back in time to change Charlemagne’s idea about education. We hated school and in our very young minds, quantum technology was needed for that feat of physically moving back in time. A few years down the road, with said education we ironically rebelled against, we produced a paper during an A-level project on the future of technology and for my part I considered the possibility of Quantum Computers in a paragraph. Years later, I wrote my master thesis on the impact of Quantum Computing on Cybersecurity. That little seed is still growing. I’m now in the middle of that growth as is the industry. It is the best time to keep learning, to stay curious and live the changes.

My interest lies where Quantum Computing meets Cybersecurity and through the thesis, I started on this path; learning terms, concepts and principles on subjects at this intersection such as Post Quantum Cryptography or Quantum Key Distribution. However, after the hard work on the thesis, reading various papers and the news to keep abreast of materials, I found my learning sometimes veered towards the superficial and disorderly. The intention of this blog, Security with Qubits, is to bring structure and definition to my personal research and studies, and to keep my focus on furthering my knowledge in the area of Cybersecurity within the Quantum Computing revolution. Goes without saying that this blog is my take on things and any opinions are my own. I do welcome comments, feedback and insights.
